Borders.com now has “The Best Wedding Reception…Ever!” listed as available for pre-sale with a release date of October 12th, 2010.
Apparently the actual release date may still be “up in the air”…but whether it is September 21st of October 12th…the good news is…the book is getting listed on these major outlets. My publisher is currently pitching the book to several major bookstore chains. When we get the green light…I’ll be giving you information about ways we can make sure your local store will have the book in stock. Stay tuned…

You can actually pre-order this new, updated and revised edition featuring a full-color interior that now runs 240 pages long and has over 100 NEW creative ideas for making wedding receptions truly fun and memorable.

The publisher obviously liked the original photos…but they have also given the book a fresh new look.
When I get approval…I will post images of the new back cover and some sneak peeks of the inside of the book as well.
My publisher e-mailed me their copy edits for Part I of the book. Next week the actual design work begins and I’ll get my first glimpse of what the new full-color interior will look like. I can’t wait!!!
Since I was already in Chicago this week for the first ADJA National Conference…I just had to go visit Harpo Productions Studios…home of The Oprah Winfrey Show!
The studio is dark until August, but it was worth just for the photos alone…

Okay…so I’m referring to Wedding Mafia, a collection of the best wedding vendors Cincinnati has to offer. They are hosting a special event on February 5th, 2009 called “An Affair with The Mafia.”

2009 is starting off with a bang! I just received a copy of Real Weddings Magazine…Sacramento to the Sierra…Winter 2009 Issue in the mail today from my good friend, Randy Bartlett. He was as surprised as I was to see my book getting plugged on page 23 under helpful resources for wedding planning.

This will be my third visit to speak and sign copies of my book at the Dallas Bridal Show. I’ll be staying in town for a few day after the show to speak to the local DFW ADJA Chapter on the evening of the 26th, at a luncheon meeting for JWI on the 27th, and at a luncheon meeting for PWG on the 28th.
